41mm has become the modern standard case size for men's luxury watches — large enough for wrist presence, refined enough for dress versatility. Rolex moved the Datejust to 41mm (from 36mm) in 2009, and the Submariner followed in 2020. At 41mm you get optimal dial legibility without overwhelming wrists in the 6.5"–8" range.
