The palm motif dial is one of Rolex's most distinctive modern dial treatments — a laser-etched palm leaf pattern that gives the dial a three-dimensional texture conventional sunburst finishes cannot match. Introduced on the Datejust 36 (126234, 126233) and Datejust 41 (126334), the palm dial became an instant social media favorite. The pattern is subtle enough to read as a textured dial from a distance, but the tropical character is unmistakable up close.

Rolex produces the palm motif in green (olive palm on green base) and silver (palm pattern on light metallic base). The green palm on steel with fluted bezel is the most photographed Datejust configuration of the past three years.
