The First Ceramic Steel Submariner
The 116610 is the Submariner that introduced the Cerachrom ceramic bezel to the steel lineup. Produced from 2010 to 2020, it replaced the aluminum-bezel 16610 and was the first steel Sub with a ceramic bezel insert, Glidelock extension clasp, and Chromalight lume. The Cal. 3135 powers it with 48-hour reserve.
The 116610LN (black) was the standard production model, while the 116610LV — the legendary "Hulk" — featured an all-green dial and green ceramic bezel. The Hulk became one of the most traded discontinued Rolex references after production ended in 2020.
