The White Gold "Smurf"

The 116619LB is the previous-generation Submariner in full 18k white gold with a blue Cerachrom ceramic bezel — nicknamed the "Smurf." Produced from 2008 to 2020, it was the first Submariner to receive a ceramic bezel, two years before the steel 116610. The white gold case reads like steel from a distance, but the weight on the wrist tells a different story. The Cal. 3135 powers it with 48-hour reserve.

The 116619LB is one of the most collectible modern Submariners — a full precious-metal Sub that doesn't announce itself visually the way gold does. Replaced by the 126619LB in 2020.
